The Friends of Forbes Library Northampton Garden Tour will take place Saturday, June 14, 2025 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., rain or shine. Lovers of gardens and fans of Forbes Library will explore six delightful home gardens. The tour raises funds to support Northampton’s historic public library.

We hope the tour will inspire and educate with a variety of landscape styles, plants, and gardening methods. The care and skill that has been poured into these gardens is extraordinary. There will be live music and a plein-air painter for your enjoyment.

Tour tickets are $20 if bought in advance and $25 on the day of the event. Tickets are sold May 5 through June 13 at Bay State Perennial Farm,  Cooper’s Corner,  State Street Fruit Store,  Gardener’s Supply Company,  Sugarloaf Gardens, and at Forbes Library. Day of tour tickets are $25 and only sold at Forbes Library 10am - 1pm on Saturday, June 14th.

All proceeds from the tour, raffle and t-shirt sales benefit the Friends of Forbes Library to support library programs, events, and projects that could not otherwise be funded.
